Day 52 – “WHY THEY HATE YOU”
Welcome to a day that has a potential to bring change in your life. Remember to read this message out loud and read only this message for the day. You inspire for you to be inspired.
Remember: #ItsPossibleBecauseItsDoable
I strongly believe you are wondering why people hate you so much. Do you want to know why people don’t take you seriously in anything you do, you say or what you have done? Do you want to know why people close their doors every time you knock on their doors? Do you want to know why everyone is kicking you out of their lives? Do you probably wonder why he/she left you when you have done nothing? I know your frustration is not because he/she left you but because you are confused as to why he/she can leave you for a person below your league. Your answer to these questions and your worries lies with you. It is what you have that makes people hate you.
What you have is greater than what they have. They don’t hate you, but the universe is indirectly telling you that you don’t belong where you are. Abimelech, in the book of Genesis 26 verses 16, once ordered Isaac to leave the country. “Go somewhere else for you have become too powerful for us”, he said. For Isaac, the feeling was the same. He was probably confused and angry that he was being chased out of his country, but it was necessary for what he had. People who are chasing you away from their lives do not hate you, but they cannot handle what you have. They cannot handle how powerful you have become. They can see how powerful you are going to be. I don’t know who are the people that you think hate you. They could be in your school, university, at your work, at home, in your church, in your organization or in your community. They do not hate you, they can’t keep up with who you are, who you have become and who you are to become.
Joseph’s brothers did the same thing with him; they first wanted to kill him and ended up selling him because they couldn’t handle his gift. They didn’t understand him and they hated the leadership power placed in him. Their plan of killing you has failed that’s why they are kicking you out of their lives. Don’t hate them but help them. Don’t try to revenge but avail yourself to them. They are confused and struggling to understand how you survive. The reason it seems as if you are not welcome in other people’s lives it’s because you don’t fit in their lives, but they fit in yours.
Don’t walk away from what you have been given just because you are afraid people won’t accept you. Just because you can fit in other people’s lives doesn’t mean you belong there. They will hate you for the breakthrough you have, just because of the breakdowns they are going through. Remember they are trying to live your life and as they see you become successful while they are not, it makes them angry. They blame you for what is not happening in their lives. Always remember to pray for them, instead of preying on them.
Plan of Action for the Day:
1. Identify and list the area(s) in your life where you feel confident in your own abilities and focus on building a strong foundation in these areas.
2. List the abilities and things that you think make people want to kick you out of their lives.
3. List people with whom you will focus on building relationships, people who will recognize your potential and can mentor you to reach it.
4. Write down the gifts that you have been given that you need to take ownership of.
5. Who are you going to help and lift up with the gifts you have?
6. List the people who have kicked you out of their lives that you want to remain a source of support and inspiration.
7. Write down ways you think you can avoid the temptation of trying to fit into other people’s lives.
8. Write down the names of people who are struggling to understand and accept who you are, and who need your prayer.
