100 Days of Transformation
Day 45 – “WHY ARE YOU HIDING?”
Welcome to another day that has the potential to bring change in your life. Remember to read this message out loud and read only this message for the day. You inspire for you to be inspired.
Remember: #ItsPossibleBecauseItsDoable
My biggest fear isn’t that you are hiding – it’s the thought that you can hide forever. Fear has trapped you in a bottle and made it seem like it is shut tightly, but I’m here to remind you that it’s not! I’ve been there. It’s not as hard as it seems to break down the walls. Believe in yourself – don’t be scared to ask for help, because it doesn’t make you any less of a person.
It’s time to look deep within and ask yourself why. Remember the purpose of your hiding? Was it to protect yourself, hide from something, or even gain more insight into something? Consider what you have gained or lost in this situation. Don’t forget why you decided to go into hiding. It’s time to move forward, and only you can take that first step. It is time to rise above and keep pushing no matter what.”
Everyone knows you were hurt, but there’s no need to wallow in self-pity. As a friend once said to me, “In life, never regret something that made you happy more than once.” When I didn’t do so well in my first Grade 12, another friend of mine reminded me to never cry over spilt milk; he was urging me to focus on the present and create new opportunities for myself, instead of dwelling on the pain from my past. My advice to you is to take this inspiration to heart and re-energize yourself. Acknowledge the pain, accept it, and then use it to fuel you towards a brighter, more fulfilled future.
I want to encourage you to keep moving on today! Don’t be discouraged by the failures; be motivated to turn them into successes. Believe that you have the strength to pick yourself up and begin again. Don’t be afraid to open your heart to joy and love again, even after the pain and hurt you’ve gone through. Come to terms with the fact that you won’t be defined by your past and struggle, but by the courage and resilience that you’ve cultivated in spite of it all. Don’t be afraid to be a part of something or to be part of the human race again. Allow yourself to recreate and start anew and watch how much bigger and better your life can be.
Did you know that you have the strength to break free from the lies you have been living? Sure, life can have its down moments, but it’s your job to rise again! God can be counted on to get you through the tough times, all you need is to take a chance on yourself and accept His guidance. Step forward and acknowledge that you need help – there is no shame in getting a coach or mentor to help you every step of the way. You have the capability to improve your life and be happier, don’t be afraid to take that chance!
Plan of Action:
1. Acknowledge the reason for your hiding and take the time to reflect on what has been gained or lost in the process.
2. Take inspiration from positive affirmation and friendly reminders.
3. Allow yourself to move on from the past and create new opportunities.
4. Don’t wallow in self-pity and focus on the present.
5. Believe you have the strength and courage to overcome fear and move forward.
6. Understand that you won’t be defined by the pain and hurt of the past, but by the courage and resilience you have gained in spite of it.
7. Take a chance on yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for help.
8. Acknowledge that your life can be bigger and better if you recreate yourself and start anew.
9. Trust and accept God’s guidance, if that helps.
10. Know you have the strength and capability to improve your life and be happier.
