100 Days of Transformation
Day 43 – “WHY DIE WHEN SOMEONE DIED SO YOU WON’T DIE?”
Welcome to another day that has the potential to bring change in your life. Remember to read this message out loud and read only this message for the day. You inspire for you to be inspired.
Remember: #ItsPossibleBecauseItsDoable
It is said that Jesus left His throne of glory and died so that we may not have to. The magnitude of this cannot be measured by human minds. His ultimate sacrifice of love has left us with a challenge: why die when Someone has already chosen to die in our place? Taking this precious gift for granted would be the ultimate disrespect; if we do not take seriously the magnitude of His love, it speaks volumes of our prideful hearts.
Which of our friends would have the audacity and love to die so that we could have life? It is hard to imagine. This is why we must remember what was done for us and challenge ourselves never to take His love for granted. We should be asking why instead of turning a deaf ear to the truth that has been revealed to us.
We owe it to others too, to tell them the truth behind the cross and what Jesus has done. Don’t let others die in their sins, let them know that Someone has already died so that they won’t have to. Respect His sacrifice by declaring it and living it out in all areas of our lives. Today, let us decide to honour His love and sacrifice by calling it out in our lives. Let us no longer take for granted what Jesus did for us. Remember the challenging, yet glorious, question, ‘Why die when Someone has already died so that we won’t have to?’
Today, let us remember that because of Jesus we have new life. That powerful question of ‘why die when Someone has already died for us’ is one that should remain in our lives. We honour His sacrifice by acknowledging it, living it, and passing on this message to the world. Let us become a living sacrifice, a living response to Someone’s ultimate gift of love, and a living testimony of the grace found in Him.
Plan of Action:
1. Find a quiet spot to pray and meditate on the gravity of Jesus’s sacrifice.
2. Speak out loud your appreciation for what Jesus did for you and commit to not taking His gift of love for granted.
3. Spend some time reflecting in His Word to uncover how you can further honour the gift of love He’s given.
4. Reach out to someone in your life to share this message of truth and encourage them to remember the power of the cross.
5. Throughout the day make an effort to be a living reflection of what Jesus did for us.
6. Make time to thank God for what He has done and the freedom we received through His son.
7. Find various ways to show your gratitude for the gift of His love by being a blessing to someone else.
8. End the day by reminding yourself to continue to live out the truth of the cross and honour Jesus in all things.
