100 Days of Transformation
Day 6 – “THE ASSIGNMENT”
Welcome to a day that has a potential to bring change in your life. Remember to read this message out loud and read only this message for the day. You inspire for you to be inspired.
Remember: #ItsPossibleBecauseItsDoable
Today, I want to encourage you to remember your purpose, the reason you were brought to earth. It can be difficult to acknowledge the gap between what you were called to do and what you are currently doing. However, it is important to remember that no one knows how much time they have left on earth. It is essential to make the most of each and every day, reflecting on how your actions align with your purpose.
Your divinely appointed mission awaits you. Have you discovered the purpose that the Lord has outlined for you? Rick Warren’s book “What on Earth am I Here For?” explores the questions we face in pursuit of a fulfilling, purpose-driven life. Are you following the path for which you were created? Are you happy with the journey thus far and your accomplishments? If not, what action steps have you taken or do you plan to take in order to reach your desired destination?
One of the most important lessons I have learned in life is the danger of self-deception; when we believe that we can achieve our dreams and discover our purpose without assistance from others, we may become discouraged when we experience obstacles. In my own journey, I found that the advice of others can be invaluable in guiding us. I encourage you to listen to the wisdom of those who care for your success and avoid the costly mistake of believing that you can handle it all yourself.
In order to fully understand your purpose in life, the best place to start is with your Creator. Time may have run out on certain projects and tasks, but you should take your time and find someone to help you uncover how you can succeed. The outcome of not taking the time to live a meaningful life will be devastating. At your funeral, having people express relief that you have passed on, or reiterate how you had lived an irresponsible, drunken life; used and abused people; and hurt those closest to you, will be a painful reminder of what could have been. Rather than letting those be the words remembered of the life you led, seek ways to make a lasting impact.
Rise to the occasion and work to discover your life’s purpose. Embrace new challenges with vigor and enthusiasm and strive to make the most of your gifts and skills. Your creator has bestowed upon you the ultimate direction and insights to find your special purpose and to bring joy to your journey. He knows your true destiny and is eager to share that with you. Let the journey be an invigorating one, where you can confidently revel in the pleasure of achieving your worthy goal.
Plan of Action:
1. Take some quiet time for personal reflection and prayer to ask God to reveal your purpose.
2. Research books, podcasts, and online resources to gain more knowledge and wisdom on purpose-driven living.
3. Make an action plan of short and long-term goals that are aligned with your purpose.
4. Seek advice from trusted mentors or a spiritual advisor.
5. Start taking small steps each day towards achieving your goals.
6. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
7. Recognize and celebrate milestones and accomplishments.
8. Evaluate the impact of your actions on yourself and others.
