100 Days of Transformation
Day 28 – “DON’T GIVE UP, GROW UP”
Welcome to a day that has a potential to bring change in your life. Remember to read this message out loud and read only this message for the day. You inspire for you to be inspired.
Remember: #ItsPossibleBecauseItsDoable
We have the capacity to become so much more than we believe, yet so often these abilities lie dormant, never seeing the light of day. When we succumb to the fear of failure, we miss out on the chance to become the best version of ourselves; to unlock the incredible gifts and talents that were written in our DNA. They say the graveyard is the wealthiest place on earth and this is so true; it’s where the goldmines of our destinies go to die, buried beneath our own self-doubt. Believe in yourself, stand up and move forward; your future awaits!
I believe in you. I know it’s hard to stay committed but I’m here to tell you that there are thousands of lives that will be positively impacted with the idea that is sitting right inside your head. Don’t let it go. You have the power to save many through the degree you are striving to complete. You have an opportunity right now to give witness to God’s amazing presence. As hard as this government position may be, countless people rely on you and look to you for guidance with your trustworthiness and honesty. You can do this. I believe in you.
When challenges come your way, don’t let doubt drag you down. Despite the pain of unemployment, don’t give up – the future is full of hope. Even if others walk away, never forget your true purpose. Every storm passes and every adversity gives way to growth, so have faith and stay strong!
As parents, it’s natural for us to feel the pain of our children when they fall while learning to walk. But it’s also important for us to remember that those falls are part of the growth process. We must take the time to laugh with them, ensuring them that no matter how many times they fall, there is growth in the process so long as they don’t give up.
You might be carrying the last R100 today looking for a job, but don’t let that discourage you. You might have had that brown envelope or that pocket file filled with CVs for more than a year now, but don’t give up. Remember, there are no challenges in life that are too great for you to overcome. God knows our paths and in the book of James 23:10 He promises that when we pass through trials and tribulations, we will come out as pure as gold.
Plan of Action:
1. Identify what it is you are hoping to accomplish: Whether it’s something as simple as getting a new job, continuing education, or following a passion, identify the goal.
2. Set SMART goals: Break your overall goal into smaller goals, and be sure to make them Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely.
3. Find an accountability partner: Adopting a buddy system is a great way to stay accountable and motivated.
4. Take small and consistent steps: Consistency is key; breaking your goal into smaller steps and keeping at it every day is often the difference between having a dream and attaining it.
5. Believe in yourself: Be bold, confident and courageous. Know that you are worthy of achieving your goals.
6. Find inspiration: Get out and connect with people that inspire you and are also pursuing their goals, even if it’s in a different field or discipline.
7. Celebrate your successes: Celebrate each milestone or success, no matter how small. This is a great reminder to stay on track and energizes you to reach the next goal.
8. Stay resilient: Persevere in the face of adversity
