Day 22 – “WAIT FOR YOUR CALL”
Welcome to a day that has a potential to bring change in your life. Remember to read this message out loud and read only this message for the day. You inspire for you to be inspired.
Remember: #ItsPossibleBecauseItsDoable
It breaks my heart to witness people crying, struggling, sick, hungry, jobless, stressed, lifeless, feeling utterly alone, and even homeless. When I was working at Westville Correctional Services, it was agonizing to see inmates unable to determine the right path. More crushing still, to consider the tragedy of some who passed away without ever having heard the right call and made the necessary change.
Waiting and listening are two of the most difficult challenges we all face in life. Today, there are many people with nothing, searching for something, feeling alone, and going nowhere. They don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel – their job offers no prospects, and they are stuck in limbo. If you don’t really know what is happening, you can cry with them, complain with them, help them, and feel their pain. These are people who failed to listen – they simply did not answer the call.
I know it’s been a long road, and you may feel like you have been working so hard without much in return. You may have become doubtful that your call will ever come. But I’m here to tell you that it will! Don’t give up hope, don’t give up on yourself. When your call comes, it will come for a purpose; one you cannot even begin to fathom now. So, stay faithful and keep waiting. Let faith be your companion and your drive. Your call is coming soon!
You may see others getting their call first but don’t give up: yours is on its way! Every single person has a unique purpose that they’re meant to fulfil and only they can pick up their own call. My advice to you: don’t answer someone else’s call. Don’t take the chance of responding to a call that wasn’t meant for you. It’s better not to get involved in relationships, marriages, businesses, jobs, friendships, and careers that weren’t intended for you in the first place. Don’t get distracted by what you weren’t meant to have. Look out for your own destiny. Your time will come!
Plan of Action:
1) Stay patient – have faith that the call is coming and that it will be the right one for you.
2)Don’t rush to answer another’s call – make sure it is yours and it is meant for you.
3)Know that every person has a purpose, and it’s up to you to pursue yours.
4)Surround yourself with people and resources who are dedicated to helping you achieve this purpose.
5)Be open to changes and take necessary actions to get closer to your goal.
6)Motivate yourself and stay focused even if you feel like things are going slow.
7)Take time for self-care and recognise your worth.
8)Monitor your progress and set new goals so you can constantly move forward.
